Support to help you prepare for getting a job (Adult 19+ only)
If you are thinking of looking for a new job, but are unsure about where to start, this course will give you the tools you need to proceed with confidence. You will be supported to identify the skills, achievements and experiences you already have which could be transferable to a new role, and you will find out how to improve your search techniques when looking for suitable vacancies. Discover how to create a strong CV and practise completing application forms to enhance your appeal to prospective employers. You will also explore ways in which you could promote yourself more effectively at interview to increase your chances of securing the job you’re after.
